Smashbox has some interesting new Luminizing Lotions ($28). These are oil-free and are used by mixing with your foundation to give your face an all over glow, or they can be used alone to highlight browbone or cheekbone. It is also suggested that they can be mixed with your body lotion. These lotions are nice - light in texture and mix well with liquid foundation. Since I often use mineral powder foundation, I did try them alone, and for the face it is very hard to get it even. There are four colors:

Smashing Glare - This one has a pinkish mauve tint to it, and is very similar to other brands of illuminators in color.

Smashing Reflect - The color of this lotion is slightly yellow. It was my least favorite as I am olive and already yellow enough!

Smashing Glow - This one is gold toward bronze and has the most illuminating power. In other words there are LOTS of gold flecks in it. I would use this one only at night.

Smashing Diffuse - My favorite, this pearl shade gives a nice illumination to skin, both face and body.

Luminizing Lotions contain the antioxidants ginkgo biloba and Japanese green tea to help fight free radicals and act as an anti-irritant. They also contain vitamins A, C and E to help brighten and moisturize the skin.
